BEATLES NOMINATED FOR TWO GRAMMYS FOR “NOW AND THEN”

This innovative digital approach allowed Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to add fresh bass, drums and vocals to the demo to create a unique track that also includes historic guitar recordings from the late George Harrison, who worked on the song with Paul and Ringo back when they did “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love” in 1995.

What are the Beatles’ Grammy nominations for 2024?
The Beatles are nominated in two prominent Grammy categories this year

- Record of the Year: Competing alongside Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Billie Eilish. The Beatles’ nomination signals their enduring influence in music.
- Best Rock Performance: Recognizes their distinctive rock sound that “Now and Then” brings to also earn a nomination in this category, which coincidentally pits The Beatles against their old pals The Rolling Stones, nominated in the same category for bringing together contemporary and classic rock fans for Best Rock Album for their 2023 release, “Hackney Diamonds,” led by original members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood.
